I've not got a subscription (wud love one) but can't get one, not till I try and convince my mum to get me a card that allows me to have a paypal account...

What tools are best for colouring when you already have a base colour
(E.G. say my colour is red, what would be best to make the shades / highlight etc... what looks better)

Brush tool, using darker and lighter tones of the colour
OR
The burn and dodge tool (basically burns the colour or brightens the colour)

I like the burn and dodge tool cuz its quick...
But I dunno what looks better
